The redesign became a priority following a company ownership change in late 2013. “We want the website to reflect the services and focus of the new company. Our team is excited to build upon our strong legacy – to introduce our services and solutions to new markets,” shared Michelle Halkerston, CEO and owner.
Hassett partnered with AmericanEagle.com to design a site that would work smoothly across multiple platforms and devices. According to Adina Iclozan, Hassett’s Senior Manager of Technology, “A responsive design was a primary objective. The website has been designed to be compatible with today’s browsers and mobile devices.” The team also considered future needs. Iclozan added “We incorporated tools that will support future enhancements and expansion.”
The website was developed with a focus on the user experience. From a new menu structure to an improved search function, the site offers intuitive navigation. “Our customers rely on our My H-Trac tools for shipment tracking and reporting,” stated Vice President of Sales & Business Development, Frank Borta. “We now offer mobile users the option of my H-Trac as well as our Hassett app.” The app is available on iTunes and Google Play.
